Wet Garbage Shredder

The shredder is designed for the disposal of food waste and wet waste from the preparation area.

The waste residues from preparation are fed into a filling opening and shredded by means of a twin-shaft grinder. The residues are not macerated! Thanks to cutting units of different sizes and speeds, the cutterbar rotors are self-cleaning. The shredded waste falls into the discharge tank and is transferred for further processing.

Mechanical Pre-treatment RAB

For bigger applications ABIONIK is working together with well-known and experienced companies for highly efficient pre-treatment solutions.

Separation of the solids is done by a filter mesh which is transporting the screenings and enabling a thickening process within the fully enclosed system.

The free-standing and fully closed system allows for an easy integration for refit projects without any smell pollution during operation. The separated solids can be bagged or transferred for further processing.

Briquetting System

For the briquetting of paper and plastic flakes. A hopper enables continuous operation without binder to achieve maximum compaction of the material. Size of the briquettes is variable.

Garbage Shredder

Designed to shred various materials with a single shaft grinder into uniform flakes; the product final particle size can be changed. Several sizes are available and include a large feed hopper. Discharge is done into bags or a waste silo or briquetting system.

Change of the blades, which are made from sinter metal, can be done easily.

Glass Crusher

For the heavy handling and collection of empty bottles and other glass containers by gringing them into small particles such as gravel and sand. Reduction of the volume by 80% means a significant reduction of storage space and less frequent collections.

Sorting Tables

For the optimum collection and sorting of all wastes occuring on board. Design according to USPH regulations.

Ship sewage treatment plant for German Navy – EGV (Type 702)

ABIONIK has delivered a compact wastewater treatment plant with fixed bed technology including vacuum system and sterilizer for the on-board hospital ward for the Einsatzgruppenversorger type 702 to meet the complex requirements for wastewater disposal of the navy.

The compact plant consists of an integrated buffer with an upstream fine screen, followed by a fixed bed reactor based on the Biolace process, a clarifier and a final UV thin film disinfection. The plant operates fully automatically and is integrated into the central control system of the ship.

Event ship MV „RheinEnergie”

ABIONIK has successfully installed its biological membrane technology on board the event ship MV "RheinEnergie". The ship holds about 1600 passengers and is built as a pure event ship.

The MV "RheinEnergie" is equipped with a compact membrane aeration plant, which can treat all the generated waste water. Although a biological sewage plant was initially planned and installed for the ship, the membrane technology was retrofitted shortly afterwards. A special feature of the installation is that the ship does not require a separate grease separator. The wastewater is treated directly in the plant.

Wastewater treatment

The MBR ship sewage treatment plant consists of a bioreactor and individually configurable filtration cells with ABIONIK filter technology. A complete redundancy is achieved by the multi-line design. The pre-treatment stage consists of a screen and a grease separator. The plant works fully automatic.
