Mechanical Pre-
Treatment

In sewer waste water or in municipal waste water treatment, the waste water is conveyed via the inlet, the end point of the sewer network, to the waste water treatment plant. For plant control, substantial parameters are already measured, e.g. waste water quantity, temperature, ph value, electrical conductivity. What follows is then the mechanical pre-treatment.

In the mechanical pre-treatment (gravel trap and rake) first of all coarse impurities are removed. To protect the plant, mineral impurities (sand, gravel, glass splinters) are removed from the waste water in the subsequent sand and grease trap and oils and fats are separated. For this ABIONIK offers specific solutions

Ship and offshore waste water treatment as well as decentralized sewage treatment systems often contain coarse waste water impurities, which are treated by specific screens or pre-treatment. This is a prerequisite for the later effectiveness of MBR filter systems.

In addition, very coarse impurities are often pre-treated manually, for which we offer the following quality products:

  • sorting tables
  • glass crusher
  • briquetting plants
  • waste shredder
