Electrical planning for a modern sewer and rainwater management

ABIONIK comprises a large team of chemists, mechanical engineers, civil engineers and electrical engineers, who can also provide you with interdisciplinary electrical planning, e.g. for stormwater tanks, sewers or separation plants. For urban areas we can offer a modern sewer management (e.g. with sewer flushers or drain brakes), where you get the necessary hardware, software and the complete electrical planning from one source.

Planning, development and construction –
everything from one source

We prepare implementation plans, tailored to the operational requirements of the systems. We plan the hardware setup (the operating resources) and develop the software according to your requirements. We program your fine-tune the system according to given flow charts, including functional guarantee. If required, we also create an individually designed visualization of the corresponding flow charts.

Rainwater treatment community of Sipplingen

Sipplingen on Lake Constance, Germany

In the community of Sipplingen, the storage volume of the combined sewer system of the RÜB West/RÜ Sulzbach was increased. At the same time, the installation of a lamella separator reduced the surface charge of the stormwater tank for a given design discharge in order to reduce the solid and pollutant loads emitted into Lake Constance via the discharge discharge outlets.

ABIONIK was entrusted with the conception and equipment. In addition to the lamella separator (HydroMESI), which increases the sedimentation capacity of the basin, a motorized slide valve (ElektroSlide) for the regulation of dry weather runoff and an automated fine screen (HydroScreen) for the retention of coarse material were installed in the inlet area of the overburden. The cleaning concept is supplemented by a HydroSelf tank flushing system, which effectively feeds solids sedimented on the tank bottom after rain events to the pump sump of the treatment plant.

Wastewater treatment

The wastewater treatment plant consists of an inlet pumping station, a mechanical pre-treatment stage (fine screen rakes), an activation tank with denitrification stage, the filter chambers with ABIONIK membrane filters and a sludge storage tank. Filtrate pumps, aeration fans and the control system of the compact plant are installed in the internal machine room. An operating room for the operating personnel is also available.
